In January, the food giant celebrated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hormelfoods.com\/newsroom\/press-releases\/hormel-foods-celebrates-record-year-and-highlights-foodservice-channel-growth-at-annual-shareholder-meeting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">record earnings<\/a>, and last month it announced its purchase of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meatandpoultryonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Applegate<\/a>, the top maker of HPP natural and organic meats.<\/p>\n<p>We couldn\u2019t be more excited to be part of the growth. For the second year in a row, Hormel honored Avure with its Spirit of Excellence Award, which recognizes the company\u2019s partners who \u201cgo above and beyond\u201d to help it achieve its goals.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honor to help a great partner like Hormel help surpass its expectations,\u201d said Jeff Williams, CEO of Avure. \u201cWe believe we don\u2019t just build HPP machines, but we forge partnerships that drive long-term growth. This award strengthens that belief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hormel highlighted much of its recent success to its foodservice division and refrigerated foods segment, which feature all natural meats treated on Avure\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jbtc.com\/foodtech\/products-and-solutions\/products\/high-pressure-processors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">high pressure processing machines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur ability to identify new customers and deliver on-trend menu solutions through a talented and unique sales team has allowed us to exceed industry growth rates,\u201d said Deanna T. Brady, group vice president, Hormel foodservice.<\/p>\n<h2>Applegate joins the Hormel family<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cA growing number of consumers are choosing natural and organic products. This deal allows us to expand the breadth of our protein offerings to provide consumers more choice,\u201d said Jeffrey M.
